The Job.
What you will do in this position:
- Lead and supervise all Accounting and Finance functions
- Oversee accounting operations, cash and treasury management, and financial and tax reporting
- Day-to-day operations of cash management, AP, AR, collections, payroll, and vendor management
- Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
- Manage financial/accounting software
- Lead customer billing, sales journal, general ledger
- Manage external financial audits and investigate findings and recommendations
- Monitor cash balances, forecasts, and any debt/equity financing if necessary
- Function as the primary liaison with our experienced HR Consultant
Qualifications.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principals, and GAAP
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems;
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Consistent and reliable, with a high attention to detail and a creative problem solving process
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated – position has a significant amount of autonomy
Bonus points:
- Experience with Acumatica software
- Experience with HR processes including onboarding, payroll, etc.
- Elevated level of written and oral communication skills
- Risk management/regulatory experience
- Experience working in high tech SAAS companies
