As a long-term post-acute care (LTPAC) specialty platform, GEHRIMED serves a wide range of facilities and providers. This means they have a challenge when it comes to provider billing. GEHRIMED was faced with providing integration for various doctors and providers, each with their own billing systems. Enter NetDirector! Around 2014, Dan Balentine took over as the Chief Operating Officer of American Health Imaging. Balentine made it a major priority to increase efficiency and identify where the major bottlenecks in the business process were occurring.

After two years in the position, it became increasingly obvious that utilizing human labor to do benefit verification was inherently time-consuming and prone to human error.
